A quick reference

I actually think this is quite useful for the transplant ID specialist. It is all tables, charts, and flowcharts, but well-referenced. I tend to use it to refer to things that are not complex diagnostic workups, but rather algorithms or guidelines e.g. vaccination schedules, pre-transplant evaluation, immunosuppressive drug interactions, etc. For those applications, it's very crisp and much better than plowing through published guidelines and skimming the tables buried within them.
Not sure if the earlier chapters on "Management of Infections in _____ Transplants" are really so practical. I would never follow a recommendation for empiric therapy of pyelo in a transplanted kidney just by looking at the table. Some subtleties get lost; the tabular format may not by ideal for these scenarios.
The review by CM "petlover1973" does raise a valid point -- if it had a more portable format, it might be more valuable.
