Lynn Richardson lives in Benton, Arkansas with her husband, Mike, and their three dogs. Lynn’s strong sense of family and her love for Arkansas provided an easy springboard for “Lucky Old Coot,” her first novel. True to her own southern upbringing, Lynn writes in enthusiastic detail about such things as fried foods, stray dogs, lake fishing, and critters.

Getting to the Heart and Soul of this Lucky old coot

I must first of all say that I was captivated by the Prologue of this wonderful little book! Lynn Richardson masterfully weaves her story of one George Wyse who is not ready to be confined to a life he hasn't chosen; In fact he is determined to get home to his family,at all cost. George's escape will draw you into this story and will keep you interested and rooting for him from start to finish.
Lynn Richardson has a bright future ahead of her, and this her first book will leave you with a warm sense of what she is all about. Her wit and easy flow of words makes this one a memory I won't soon forget. I look forward to her next book, and I whole hardheartedly recommend you read Lucky Old Coot!

Lucky Old Coot

Lynn Richardson has brought the personalities of small town characters to life, so much so, that I just want to go out and buy an English Bull dog. I loved this book and read the entire book in one day. Kept thinking about it afterwards and decided that Billy Bob Thornton would be the perfect actor to play the crafty and handsome George Wyse, whose daughter gets the upper hand by getting power of attorney and placing him in a retirement home. You must read it to see how George turns it around. There are no dirty words in this book and as an added bonus, there are pictures in this book, which I loved. Looking forward to seeing this as a movie and reading her next book.

Lucky Old Coot

I was completely hooked after the first chapter with Lynn Richardson's vivid portrayal of characters in this earthy, down home book! As each chapter ended, I anxiously turned the page to the next. I just couldn't put it down! I felt a connection with each colorful character and found myself feeling as if I really knew them. This first book is a tremendous start to a very promising future for Lynn as an author. I am looking forward to many more books to come! Do yourself a favor and purchase this book!!! You will be glad you did!
