For fans of the game

[[VIDEOID:40918b8843fd6251cf31bf72845dfd8e]]Wow, the producer Kenichiro Takaki is really unabashed at the selling point of Senran Kagura series of games. On page two, in case you missed it, they even printed the words "BOOBS" in big bold red fonts. That's the highlight of this book.

This is a 240-page paperback that's has been translated by Udon Entertainment into English from the original Japanese edition 閃乱カグラシリーズ 公式イラスト集 -少女達の軌跡-.

This book features art for the following games:

Senran Kagura Skirting Shadows
Senran Kagura Crimson Girls
Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus
Senran Kagura NewWave
Senran Kagura Bon Appetit
Senran Kagura 2 Deep Crimson

The other selling point are the wonderful illustrations included. The pages are filled with beautiful anime style illustrations of the female ninjas. There are character designs, funny scenarios and pin-ups. The character designs are awesome. I like how dynamic the characters look.

This book is definitely not safe for work. Although all the important bits are covered up, there are still a lot of touchy-feely pieces, and of course more than a handful of those teasing almost-nude illustrations.

Right at the end are interviews with Righteous Boobage Artist Nan Yaegashi and Righteous Boobage Producer Kenichiro Takaki (that's what they call themselves). Basically they talk about what it's like to make a game that features so much boobs. Some parts are serious, like really talking about the IP and game making, while others parts are on character designs.

There are character profiles for the ninjas across the different games in the last few pages. Also included is an encyclopedia that explains all the terms, phrases and jokes from the past games. I even learned a new Japanese word "bakunyuu" that literally means "explosive breasts".

I can see how fans of the game will be delighted with this book.

finally an official US art book that i can get my hands on

im thankful for marvelous for releasing this awesome visual art collection of senran kagura games.

now what its in this design books are some offecial art , concept - ruff drawings - bonus material art and some softcore porn cuz its an ecchi show after all so please keep in mind to be careful around litlle children or people who might get offended by some the pictures .

with that said this a good way to treat us senran kagura fans as it has arts from Burst - Bon apatite - new wave - SV and abit of 2 crimson but sadly not EV .

overall it has a very good mix of art from various characters to be fair as the characters are interesting and like them not for the ecchi part of the show but for being a badass action girls with different fighting art styles and character tropes .

to bad that Estival Vs didn't make the cut as i would have loved some Renka pictures , but hopfully they wouls realease an english EV design book as well .

for this art book if your itching for some senran kagura art this a wonderful book for fans , ecchi lovers and gaming fan alike

note there are also a wonderful interview section at the end of the book with the series creator and artist also that is amusing to read , as well as some ultra cute and funny comic strip section of each game end chapter that really made this book much worthwhile .

im craving for more US released SK US art books in the future and hopefully with US release of EV they might do one for that game ( Gotta get me some Renka pictures ) .

Range of Fashion

The pattern on the front cover it the only appealing item in the short list of five. I've done the sweater and I'm very happy with the results. Instructions were a bit vague in some areas, but for an experienced crafter this is fine. The other styles are very dated and I can't see ever making them. I really just paid for the one pattern. I'm happy with the purchase, but would have been happier if there was more than one useable pattern.

This was a used book, so an excellent price and I received it way fast! To my delight, it was in "like new" condition even though the description said there were bent pages on one corner. Very pleased and can't wait to make the sweater on the cover, which was the reason I ordered the book.

Nature is a single coherent system and diverse methods of scientific and engineering investigations should reflect this interlinked and dynamic unity. Accordingly, general concepts and ideas should be developed systematically in interdependence, with cause-and-effect pathways, for improved outcomes in knowledge, technology and applications. At the same time, industrial and social applications rely on integration of disciplines and unification of knowledge. Thus, convergence is both a fundamental principle of nature and a timely opportunity for human progress. This handbook will represent the culmination of fifteen years of workshops, conferences and publications that initially explored the connections between nanotechnology, biotechnology, information technology and new technologies based on cognitive science. A constant emphasis on human benefit then drew in the social sciences, even as shared scientific and ethical principles brought in sustainability of the Earth environment and the challenge of equitable economic advancement. The intellectual contributions of literally hundreds of scientists and engineers established a number of research methods and analytical principles that could unite disparate fields. The culmination has been called Convergence of Knowledge and Technology for the benefit of Society (CKTS), defined as the escalating and transformative interactions among seemingly different disciplines, technologies, communities and domains of human activity to achieve mutual compatibility, synergism and integration.

About the Author

Nancy Frey, PhD, is Professor of Literacy in the School of Teacher Education at San Diego State University. She is a recipient of the Early Career Achievement Award from the National Reading Conference, as well as a co-recipient of the Christa McAuliffe Award for Excellence in Teacher Education from the American Association of State Colleges and Universities. In addition to publishing with her colleague Douglas Fisher, Dr. Frey teaches a variety of courses in San Diego State’s teacher-credentialing and reading specialist programs on elementary and secondary reading instruction, literacy in content areas, and supporting students with diverse learning needs. She is a credentialed special educator and reading specialist in California and is privileged to learn with and from students and teachers at Health Sciences High and Middle College every day.

Great suggestions for teaching

I have been a teacher for over a decade, but have recently returned to school to get a teaching credential. This book is a required text. I'm so glad it is. It's filled with many great suggestions for being an effective teacher and that's what we teachers all want to be.

About the Author

Joseph Noggle received his B.S. in Chemistry from Juniata College, and his M.S. in Chemistry and Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Harvard University, where he was also a Postdoctoral Fellow. Noggle served as Assistant Professor of Chemistry at University of Wisconsin (Madison), from 1965-71. He is currently Professor of Chemistry at University of Delaware. He also has worked for The Dupont Company, Textile Fiber Department in Wilmington DE, as a Visiting Scientist

Noggle is the author of nine books, the most recent being PhysicalChemistry, Third Edition, Physical Chemistry Using Mathematica, and Physical Chemistry using Mathcad. His research specialty is nuclear magnetic resonance, for which he wrote the classic monograph The Nuclear Overhauser Effect: Chemical Applications.

Definitely the best p chem text I've ever used

I've used Noggle ten out of the past twelve years in my junior level physical chemistry course. It is very comprehensive, takes a rigorous theoretical approach, and I think was a leader in using an operator based method for quantum mechanics, as well as chpaters on Stat Mech. Having said all that I am alarmed by the student reviews here. I teach at a small liberal arts college with 5-15 students enrolled in physical chemistry, and I offer a lot of contact time for problem solving assistance. I guess I am hoping that the students who wrote awful reviews took the course at a much larger institution. I noticed that Noggle went to some effort to make the 3rd edition "easier" than the first two editions, so that the problems were a bit less challenging, and in so doing there were quite a few errors in the 3rd edition, as the students pointed out; this is a prime example of how making something easier makes it harder. In any case, I guess I would not recommend the use of this textbook in a large physical chemistry course where students do not have direct access to a knowledgeable professor who is available to them in abundant amounts. But I am going to keep using it, and praising Noggle as I do so for his mathematical approach to the subject of physical chemistry.

Great Pchem Book

This is the best physical chemistry book I have seen. I used it for my undergraduate class at the University of Delaware, where Noggle was my professor. It presents all of the basic thermo concepts (at an easier level than Sandler's text, definitely read Noggle concurrent with Sandler), statistical mechanics, diffusion, kinetics, and quantum mechanics. I still refer to this book regularly. It is an indispensable reference for a chemical engineer.

Professor Noggle passed away on March 13, 1998

Joseph H. Noggle was a Professor of Chemistry at the University of Delaware. He demonstrated a passion for three subjects-opera, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy and computers. At the time of his unexpected death on March 13, 1998, he was looking forward to teaching an evening class on the Wagner Ring Cycle at the University of Delaware's Academy of Lifelong Learning.

Professor Noggle, who held a master's degree and a doctorate in chemistry from Harvard University, first taught at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, before going to the University of Delaware in 1971. He authored or co-authored a total of 35 research articles, all of which dealt with some aspect of NMR, and wrote the definitive treatice on The Nuclear Overhauser Effect: Chemical Applications.

Professor Noggle's love of computers led him to create amd teach the course "Computers in Chemistry," and six of his nine books dealt with applications of computer hardware and software to the teaching of physical chemistry. He served, not surprisingly, as the department's first and only webmaster.

Professor Noggle's crowning achievement, however, was "Physical Chemistry," now in its third edition. It has become the second most-used textbook in the country.

Recognizing Professor Noggle's quick wit and dry sense of humor, his e-mail by-line quoted humorist Dave Barry: "Megahertz: a really big Hertz."

A "must read" for SSL professional...you can learn either the basics or if you are willing to spend the time, the in depth physics of SSL technology and applications. A bit dry in terms of writing style, but very educational.

Solid book but.......

This is a really good book for someone who is invloved in the subject, otherwise it is a readers nightmare, I lost count on the times the author writes " but not have been fully understood"...all he does in Ch4 and Ch5 is tell you what someone designed and what they achieved, it is like he copied and pasted technical journal papers into this book, I would not advice anyone on buying it, hard work have been put in it, but it is still a BAD book.....consider LEDs by schubert.....

This is an extraordinary book dealing for the first time with an emerging area of solid-state lighting. The book covers all subjects from intriguing history of lighting to the basics of solid state light emitters to numerous applications in biology, medicine, industry, and specialized and general lighting. A must to have for many scientists, engineers, and students.

PRECAST concrete hardly features at all in most UK undergraduate civil engineering courses, partly because little information is available at appropriate level. This book aims to give lecturers a method of incorporating the subject effectively into their courses. It is very well presented, with clearly laid out examples and numerous line diagrams and photos....the book cannot be bettered. It covers the design process, manufacture and construction of precast concrete in multi-storey buildings, the main topic being materials, frame analysis, floors, beams, column and shear walls, joints, connections and ties. Recommended. CONCRETE ENGINEERING INTERNATIONAL 2003.
